Today’s story invites children into the world of imagination and wonder. Gigi travels to a dreamlike “Cloud Garden” where ideas grow like flowers. This story introduces conditional grammar structures using could and would, along with nature and dream-related vocabulary. Through this, children are encouraged to imagine freely and express “what if” ideas in English.
📖 Today's Reading
One sunny afternoon, Gigi lay on the grass with her sketchbook. As she watched the clouds, one of them winked at her!
Suddenly, a soft breeze lifted her up into the sky. “Whoa!” Gigi laughed. She landed in a magical garden made of clouds. There were floating flowers, jellybean trees, and fluffy white paths.“This is the Cloud Garden,” said a rainbow-colored bird. “Here, you can grow ideas like plants!”
Gigi drew a tiny house, and poof—a real cloud-house appeared! She drew a smiling cat, and meow—a cloud-cat ran around her feet.
“If I lived here,” Gigi said, “I would draw a whole city in the sky!”
Then, the bird whispered, “Time to go back.”
Gigi slowly floated back to the field. She looked at her sketchbook and smiled. “What a dream!”
