前些時間,為了找到用來協助我「管理生活」的工具,整個人都投入到研究Notion這套軟體的狀態,結果整個投入過頭了,沒有多餘的時間發呆、思考人生,整個沒有選歌的頭緒。
我就,隨興的抽了一本書,讓我爸幫我抽了其中一頁,作為我這篇文章的撰寫題材。
認識電影(第十版),第168頁,第四章,剪接。
那一頁寫的是,鬼才導演昆汀.傑羅姆.塔倫提諾(Quentin Jerome Tarantino)的第二部電影《黑色追緝令Pulp Fiction》,說明導演如何運用剪接技巧,強調劇中兩個角色心理距離的一個案例。
這首黑眼豆豆的《Pump It》則是電影《黑色追緝令》的片頭曲,順帶一提《Monkey Business》這張專輯我從小聽到大,真的挺耐聽的。
「把音響聲音轉大,讓音樂震破耳膜!」就像《黑色追緝令》混亂無序的故事敘述手法,每一個場景裡的小事件,最後左右了那些角色的生死存亡,震耳欲聾、無法忽視。

《黑色追緝令》用跳動的順序,倒敘三個主線故事。
電影剛開始,感覺第一段故事,似乎跟第二段沒有什麼關聯。
等到電影來到中後段,開始可以拼湊出一個完整的故事線。
最後電影結尾在一個你已經知道後續發展的故事迴圈裡,讓你在電影結束後,繼續不斷的思考角色彼此的關係,以及那些可能漏接的線索。

其實,我不懂電影。
至少,現在還不懂。
所以,大家好奇《黑色追緝令》在演啥的,歡迎去看看電影本尊,或是到網路上搜尋電影的介紹,我就先不再這裡獻醜了。
雖然沒有解析電影的能力,我還是可以來說說這部電影啟發我的想法。
在我考研究所的時候,補習班助教送了這麼一句話,賈伯斯說「You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. 」
中文是「你無法預先把現在所發生的點點滴滴串聯起來,只有在未來回顧今日時,你才會明白這些點點滴滴是如何串在一起的。所以你現在必須相信,眼前現在發生的點點滴滴,將來多少都會連結在一起。你得去相信,相信直覺、命運、生命或甚至是輪迴。」
人生大概就是這樣,我們有時候不知道自己當下在幹嘛,害怕自己虛度了光陰。
我們大概只能相信,這些我們當下的努力掙扎,在未來回頭的某刻,會發現,一切都是有關連的,你已經成為更豐富的自己了。
