"I was just wondering anyone knew his name."
"What the fuck do you care, new fish.

  • "He had a quiet way about him, a walk and a talk that just wasn't normal around here. He strolled, like a man in a park without a care or a worry in the world, like he had on an invisible coat that would shield him from this place. Yeah, I think it would be fair to say... I liked Andy from the start."
  • "But prison is no fairy tale world."
  • "I'd only ask three beers a piece for each of my co-workers" "co-workers! Get him..." I think a man workin' outdoors feels more like a man if he can have a bottle of suds."..."Drink up while it's cold, ladies."

"Me, I think he did it just to feel normal again...if only for a short while."
  • "Everyone's innocent in here, don't you know that?" “No thanks. I gave up drinking."
    "Innocent?"
"The only guilty man in Shawshank."

  • (獄中正在放流瀉男女之情的電影The entire audience screams with him, high-pitched and hysterical.) (獄卒在廁所看情色漫畫,Andy放費加洛的婚禮 Everybody just stands in place, listening to the music, hypnotized.)
"I have no idea to this day what them two Italian ladies were singin' about...Higher and farther than anybody in a gray place dares to dream. It was like some beautiful bird flapped into our drab little cage and made these walls dissolve away.and for the briefest of moments, every last man at Shawshank felt free."

  • "He's just in stitutionalized, that's all."
"Man's been here fifty years. This place is all he knows. In here, he's an important man, an educated man...Out there, he's nothing..."
"These walls are funny. First you hate 'em, then you get used to 'em. After long enough, you get so you depend on 'em. That's "institutionalized."

"Hope is a dangerous thing." "Like Brooks did?"
"Please stop sending us letters." ANDY "Only took six years. "

”May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.” 「
