阿基萊什·艾耶是印度裔美國人，亦是傳授印度教「吠檀多不二論」的開悟聖者。
Akilesh Ayyar is an enlightened sage and teacher of the “Advaita Vedanta" school of Hindu Mysticism.
阿基萊什所傳授的教法是以20世紀聖者「薄伽梵」拉瑪那·馬哈希的教法為核心，當然也是根據他本人實修經驗。
Akilesh’s teachings are based on the path of spiritual practice taught by 20th century sage “Bhagavan" Sri Ramana Maharshi, as well as, of course, his own experience in practice.

According to Wiktionary, Akilesh (Sanskrit: अखिलेश) is made up of two parts: the word “akhil" (अखिल) meaning “complete" and the word “īś" (ईश) meaning “god.” There are multiple romanized spellings.
「艾耶」則是印度「種姓制度」中某種婆羅門（祭司）「種姓」。
According to Wiktionary, Ayyar (Sanskrit: अय्यर), also written Iyer, is a Tamil loan word and surname for a caste of Hindu brahmins.
