話說不是已經開學了，怎麼感覺暑假還沒過去
尤其是台北 盆地地形，感覺熱度都集中在盆地裡面了 >口<

Lately
Taiwan has been scorching hot.
I mean, isn't school already back in session?
Why does it still feel like summer vacation isn't over?
Especially in Taipei—living in a basin feels like all the heat just gets trapped right on top of you.

Well… Hehe, let me keep you guessing for a second.
One day, I got home and my sweetheart greeted me with,
“Guess what? I went to the market today and bought this!”
“It's not red, it's yellow.”
I was intrigued.
My babe walked past me, grabbed a knife, pulled something mysterious from the fridge, and started slicing.
It was a watermelon!
My favorite watermelon. Instant joy.
Ohhh yeah!
Honestly, there's nothing better in a hot, humid Taipei basin than eating watermelon.
Especially when someone else cuts it for you.
My darling is just too sweet.
As I munched away, my babe started chatting beside me:
“Did you know Japan has this apple farming technique?”
“They even feed apples to cows over there.”
“Uh-huh,” I muttered, half-listening.
“And then the beef ends up with a hint of apple flavor.”
At first, I didn't think much of it, but the more I listened, the stranger it got.
Hold on…
what does apple farming have to do with me eating watermelon right now?
I kept listening, still confused—until suddenly, it clicked.
Wait a sec!
If apple-fed cows taste like apples…
And you're feeding me watermelon right now…
Then I'll end up tasting like—

I was speechless.
Are we switching kiss flavors now? Will we be rotating between spicy, watermelon, apple every week?
This human… seriously, what goes on in that head?
The imagination is unreal.

Should I be congratulating my sweetheart on inventing a brand-new technology?
某天
我一回家，就聽到我家寶貝說
「我今天去菜市場，買了這個！」
「不是紅色的，是黃色的。」
我很好奇，天氣這麼熱，我家寶貝還願意出門購物真是神奇
到底是買了啥？
接著
他繞過我，去拿刀子，從冰箱拿出神秘物品開始切
歐耶！
是西瓜ㄟ
而且是我愛吃的小玉西瓜

真開心

當然就是吃西瓜阿
而且還是有人幫你切好的西瓜
歐！我家寶貝真是太貼心。親他一下獎勵他好了
我一邊吃，他就在我旁邊和我說話
他開始說
「你知道日本有一種蘋果養殖技術嗎？」
「聽說那邊的牛，是餵養蘋果的。」
我「喔」了一聲，當作回應。他繼續說
「然後牛肉就會有蘋果香味。」他看著我微笑
我一開始還沒有感覺，但是我越聽越奇怪
阿你蘋果養殖技術，到底跟我現在吃西瓜有什麼關係？

我一邊疑惑，一邊繼續聽他說話
聽著聽著，我恍然大悟
等等！

你說吃蘋果的牛肉，會有蘋果香
那你現在切西瓜給我吃，所以我會有
驚！

謎底揭曉
「以後就可以親到有西瓜香的你了。」
我有點傻眼
現在連接吻都要多元化了嗎？
以後會有辣味、西瓜味、蘋果味嗎？
這個人類，是不是有點特別？
也太奇思妙想了吧！
