我感謝你，上帝，為了這不可思議的
day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
一天：為了林間舞躍的綠精靈，
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
為了穹蒼真實的藍色夢境；為了一切
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
自然的，永恆的，臣服與同意。
( 我已死去，又於今日復活，
and this is the sun's birthday; this is the birth
今天是太陽的生日，是生命、
day of life and of love and wings: and of the gay
是愛、是羽翼的生日，是愉悅的、
great happening illimitably earth
於浩瀚裡無盡消長的大地的生日。)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
眼見、耳聞、舌嚐、身觸、
breathing any -- lifted from the no
呼吸，任一 – 於無名的虛空之始
of all nothing -- human merely being
升起 – 如是存在的人啊，
doubt unimaginable You?
怎會懷疑那思維無法企及的祢？
(now the ears of my ears awake and
( 如今，我的雙耳之耳已醒，
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)
