Could live - did live -

Could die - did die -

Could smile upon the whole

Through faith in one he met not

To introduce his soul.

Could go from scene familiar

To an untraversed spot-

Could contemplate the journey

With unpuzzled heart-

Such trust had one among us,

Among us not today -

We who saw the launching

ever sailed the Bay!

可活就活

可死就死

可對一切微笑

穿越信心無以適合

引領他的靈魂

去到一個未曾遍歷處

可默觀此旅程

佐以清醒的心

這信靠一位曾在我們中間

他在我們當中但今已不在

我們曾見首航的船

希伯來11：8「亞伯拉罕因著信，蒙召的時候就遵命出去，往將來要得為業的地方去；出去的時候，還不知往哪裡去。」人需要有目標，有異象。即使有了，還需要有信心與毅力走下去。未來，是用盼望去行走，勇氣，是這時需要的。如果沒有賜信心的神同在，我們會在原地打轉。
