英文簡單模仿--ing及ed

英文的ing裏有許多功能(請google), 以下為此篇文章裏關於ing及ed的應用舉例：

例句：Mr. Powell, speaking at a research conference in Washington hosted by the International Monetary Fund.

鮑威爾在國際貨幣基金組織主辦的華盛頓研究會議上發表演說.  

太硬了, 模仿一個生活例句：

Ming, crying at his birthday party held for him by his parents.

小明在雙親為他舉辦的生日宴會上哭了.

先回到小學英文：

1, Ming cried at his birthday party. 小明在他的生日宴會哭了(s+vi句型)

2, The party was held for him by his parents. 這宴會是雙親為他舉辦的 (s+vi句型)

1+2 =

→Ming, who cried at his birthday party which was held for him by his parents.

 →→Ming, crying at his birthday party held for him by his parents.

小明在雙親為他舉辦的生日宴會上哭了.

經過省略及變形(請google)後, 就模仿出了一句簡單日常英文. 老師當年有說過, 英文學不好, 看不懂的很多關鍵是這裏卡一個ing, 那裏卡一個ed.  其實就是還原到小學程度, 不斷熟練.  就像電腦的基本運算就是0跟1的不斷組合一樣.
