Through this connection, we gain access to others' worlds. Separated by transparent glass, we can safely admire the stunning, tumultuous storms, the tender and exotic landscapes of distant lands.

A friend of mine who lives far away happens to be in the condom business. Every year during Double 11, I order three, four, or five boxes from him. Each time the package arrives, it includes a bunch of sample products as well. Even though we're separated by distance, the thoughtfulness behind it is truly touching. Yet, by the following year, I still haven’t used them all. I can’t give them away, and it's not like I can just walk up to someone on the street and say, “Hey, I’ve got some extra condoms—wanna help me use them up?” It doesn’t work like that.
