第10屆世界衛生組織菸草控制框架公約締約方大會（COP10）和第3屆菸草製品非法貿易消除議定書締約方會議（MOP3）延期至2024年。

根據巴拿馬通知，作為第10次世界衛生組織菸草控制框架公約締約方大會（COP10）和第3屆菸草製品非法貿易消除議定書締約方會議（MOP3）的主辦國，原定於2023年11月舉行的COP10和MOP3不再可能按原定計劃進行。

預計COP10和MOP3將在2024年初在巴拿馬舉行，確定的日期將稍後公布。

COP10和MOP3的延期是由於巴拿馬目前的安全情況。

大會秘書處將在有關COP10和MOP3的進一步細節確定後進行通報。

大會秘書處繼續支持世界衛生組織菸草控制框架公約的締約方和菸草製品非法貿易消除議定書的締約方履行條約義務，以保護他們現在和未來一代免受菸草使用和暴露於菸草煙霧所帶來的毀滅性健康、社會、環境和經濟後果。

COP10 and MOP3 postponed to 20249 November 2023

News release

The Tenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP10) to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) and the Third session of the Meeting of the Parties (MOP3) to the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products postponed to 2024.Following communication received from Panama, the host country of the Tenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP10) to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) and the Third session of the Meeting of the Parties (MOP3) to the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products (Protocol), it is no longer possible to conduct COP10 and MOP3 in November 2023, as scheduled.

The sessions are expected to be held in Panama, as early as possible in 2024, at dates to be confirmed.

The postponement of COP10 and MOP3 is due to the current security situation in Panama.

The Convention Secretariat will communicate further details in relation to COP10 and MOP3, as soon as available.

The Convention Secretariat continues to support the Parties to the WHO FCTC and the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products with implementing their obligations under the treaties and to protect their present and future generations from the devastating health, social, environmental and economic consequences of tobacco consumption and exposure to tobacco smoke.
