English version
Koala has lived in Guava Village for more than thirty years. By day, she works a nine-to-five job as an engineer. At night, she goes home to a family that runs a tea shop.
Her father is Uncle A-Pin.
Her mother is Auntie Ying. Three people, one shop, one village— that’s how they’ve lived for a long time.
Koala loves to sleep.
Not the staying-up-late kind, but the kind who can doze off anytime, anywhere. Often a little absent-minded, always half a beat slower, with a lazy air, as if she’s never quite fully awake.
So later on,
everyone simply started calling her Koala.
