下班後的幸福時光

The Blissful Moments After Work

I get home from work and let out a deep sigh—phew, what a relief.

A little tired.
After my shower, my darling comes over and starts drying my hair

"How was your day?"
"Pretty good," I say (though, yeah, a little tired).

"The students were really well-behaved,” I add with a smile.

Then, my darling asks me,
"Do you know what I love about you?"

"What?” (I raise an eyebrow, a bit curious.)

"It's not your purity, warmth, or generosity that I love,"

(Confusion was written all over my face.)

"What I love is that after everything you’ve been through, you still choose to be pure, warm, kind, and generous.”

That line hit me right in the heart.

Hearing it made me feel so,

so incredibly,
unbelievably,
happy.

Maybe, in my darling's eyes,

That little bird called Joy takes flight inside my heart,

soaring like a migratory bird,

flying high,

as if it’ll never stop.

下班回家，呼，鬆了一口氣
有點累
洗完澡，我家寶貝走過來幫我吹頭髮

一邊吹，一邊跟我聊天
問我今天好嗎？
我說挺好的 (雖然有點累啦)

「學生挺乖。」我帶著笑意說道

然後，我家寶貝問了我一個問題

「你知道我喜歡你什麼嗎？」

「什麼？」我帶點疑惑地挑了挑眉毛

「我喜歡的不是你的單純天真、大方善良」他低聲說道

我滿臉困惑，他不喜歡我這，那是喜歡我什麼?

到底是......

「我喜歡的是你在經歷過許多後，還是選擇做一個單純天真、大方善良的人」
