I'm on the clock

* on [介係詞] = 開啟、啟動

* clock [名詞] = 時鐘

什麼叫做「我在時鐘上面(on the clock)」啊？

其實這裡的時鐘不是掛在你家的鐘啦

是公司的打卡鐘！

這裡的on是什麼概念呢？

大家都看過電器的開關會寫on和off，

on是說你在打卡鐘上打卡開啟工作狀態。

反過來，off是在打卡鐘上打卡關閉工作狀態，

就是下班(off the clock)。

I'm on the clock. (我在上班)

I'm off the clock. (我下班了，不是在上班時間)

像這樣是不是超簡單的！
