在歐洲浪遊的那些日子裡，M 總是掛念著我。
他習慣在訊息裡不斷確認我的所在：
「 現在在哪裡？」
「 路上安全嗎？」
像是一種遠方的守護，是他一如既往給我的安全感。

我記得在米什科爾茨時，傳給他幾張照片——洞穴溫泉裡蒸騰的霧氣，布克山脈間靜謐的步道。M 在那端先是驚嘆不已，接著忽然丟來一句靈魂拷問：
" How did you find them and why actually them? "( 註 1.)
我笑著回：
" It is near Košice. It also has a nice bath, and it is a small town."
但 M 不滿意，追問：
" Yes, but why there? "
