Where Can Aikido Techniques Be Used?

My core and legs aren't that strong.
I can't even pull off a kip-up half the time.
Alright, I admit it—I'm still a rookie.
I just need more practice. I could do it when I was younger, though.
I actually thought about practicing aerial spins before.
Traditional martial arts have some aerial spins, too.
I dabbled in them for a bit—mostly because they looked cool.
But I gave up when I realized they were kinda impractical in a real fight.
In martial arts, you're taught to keep your kicks below knee level.
If you go higher, your opponent will probably just kick you where it hurts.(就是重要部位)
And yes—getting kicked down there hurts for women, too.
I've had a few close calls where I was almost punched or kicked in that area.
You get the idea.
Accidents happen,
Not just when you're having bad luck. >口<
If you know traditional martial arts moves, you'll understand:

And guess what?
My friends used all of these—to target down there.
Then there's the classic feint:
Start with White Crane Spreads Its Wings—
Make it look like you're going for the eyes. When their focus shifts upward, Follow up with a groin kick.
By the time they realize what's happening, It's already too late.
Hahaha! So tell me,
Who would even dare throw a high kick now? An aerial spin? Sure, it looks badass— But it's a surefire way to get wrecked.
Sometimes, playing it safe is just smarter.
—What Went Through My Mind During My Accident
When I got thrown into the air, my first thought was:
I'm screwed.
With my current core strength,
There's no way I'm landing safely.
Alright.
Might as well try a breakfall.
At least I'll soften the impact.
First priority—protect my head.
I've hit my head before,
Spent days feeling dizzy and nauseous. Not fun.
So I went with an Aikido breakfall:
Tucked my chin toward my waist— That way, my head wouldn't slam into the ground. At the same time, I slapped the ground with my hands
To keep my head safe.
Basically,
I sacrificed my hands to protect my head. Also clenched my teeth to minimize the shock.
I still remember…
Back in college, When I got my Aikido certificate, I was so pumped.
I thought I was unstoppable.
Hadn't even trained that long, and I was already winning awards.
Then my friend hit me with reality:
"That's nice and all, But can you actually use Aikido in a real fight?"
I hesitated.
"Well… most Aikido moves are joint locks," I said.
"Kinda hard to use in an actual fight."
"If I had to, I'd knock the guy down first,
Then go for a joint lock."
My friend just laughed.
"Then why not just knock them down and be done with it?"
I…
Yeah. That actually made a lot of sense.
That was my reality check.
I started wondering if all my training even meant anything.
That years later, in middle age,
I'd finally have a chance to use it…
In a car accident.

其實我有想過練一下空中轉體,國術其實也有在空中轉的動作,
我以前有小練一下(因為帥)
後來沒練是因為覺得有點華而不實,因為實戰
國術講究腳不過膝,過膝的話,對方大概會直接踹你下面 (鼠蹊部)
別懷疑,女生被踹下面也挺痛的
我有幾次被打或踢到下面的經驗,你懂得
意外總是會發生
不是只有犯太歲的時候會 >口<
聽聽國術的招數你大概就懂
我遇過
海底撈月
猴子偷桃
撩陰腿
雙龍出海
以上都被我朋友拿來攻擊下面(鼠蹊部)
海底撈月這招式聽起來很浪漫,但是如果你知道撈的月亮是什麼
就會痛徹心扉
還有虛晃一招,先來個白鶴亮翅,再用鶴嘴插你雙眼
當你的注意力放在上面的時候,再來個撩陰腿
注意力還沒回到下面,就已經中招
哈哈哈
試問腳怎麼敢抬起來
還空中轉體哩
這招式帥歸帥
但是很容易被打爆就是了
做人還是龜一點好
總之,因為我覺得實戰訓練用不到,所以沒練空中的動作,畢竟在空中沒辦法借力,很容易中招
要回到正題來了──我車禍當時怎麼想的
首先,被甩到半空中時,我想說
完蛋了,以我現在的腰腹力量,應該沒辦法平安落地
好吧!
那就只好試試看護身動作了
起碼摔的會輕一點
保護好頭部,不要腦震盪(之前有摔過一次,頭暈想吐好幾天,有夠難受的)
我採用合氣道的受身動作,就是落地的時候,記得頭看腰部,這樣頭比較不會摔到;同時,手往下拍,藉由手往下拍的力道讓自己的上半身可以有個力道,不會摔到頭 (手如果沒有往下拍,很可能頭會往地下摔)
簡而言之,就是犧牲我的手手(把小石頭從手中清理出來的時候,真的會痛),
保護我的頭
同時,緊咬牙關,可以讓頭的震動小一點
我大學的時候
拿到這張獎狀
好開心、好得意
我的獎狀
剛得獎時
我真是意氣風發
整個人都在飄
覺得自己真是太厲害了
沒練多久就拿獎了
直到我朋友跟我說
你拿這個獎沒啥用
你實戰模擬可以用合氣道的招式嗎?
我......
「合氣道的招式很多是關節技ㄟ。」我說
「很難用」
「如果要用的話,那我會先把對方打趴,再用關節技控制。」
我朋友說:「那你直接打趴就好了,何必多此一舉」
我......
說的也對ㄟ
好吧!一頭冷水澆下來,我冷靜了一下
感覺練這沒啥用
用到的時候
已是中年
