The FLow of Tao

One day in Qigong class, when the teacher talked about Tao, she said that she felt so relieved that we don’t need to be in charge of everything….
That was the first time I came across Tao.
I had heard of Tao before, but I didn’t exactly know what it was.
That day when the teacher talked about Tao, she said that we didn’t need to be in charge of everything….I burst into tears….and I didn’t even know why I was crying. Closing my eyes and focusing inside, I felt it. I felt that the Tao was so beautiful, and I felt also a sense of deep trust. That was the first time I came across Tao. Then I created this oil painting: The Flow of Tao.
In this painting, the blue background can be the universe, sky, or ocean. The center flow is Tao, and the colorful stars in the flow are the people who live in the Tao.
The blue background represents each of our lives. It is beautiful, but also full of rough, choppy challenges.
No one’s life is a piece of cake. As a little stars in the universe, each of us have our own life situations. One second, when we float peacefully in the air, but the next second we are swallowed by the storm. We always must be very careful, as if we’re walking on eggshells.
However, life has another choice, which we choose consciously to live in the Tao, along with the flow…..
Living in the flow of Tao, we don’t need to be in charge of everything. With the deepest trust, there is a sense of “knowing” that things will go well. The only thing we need to do is to stay centered, stay grounded, and live in the present.
Are you one of the little stars in the flow? Not certainly. But if you live in the present, face yourself honestly, accept the “not knowing” about your life, and trust deeply, then you must be a little star living in the Tao. That’s for sure!
這裡記錄著我往美國護士LVN前進的歷程,不知道我會不會走到那裡?但這真的是一條困難的路呀....且走且佇足,感覺生命的美好,再繼續前進吧!
