Dark amble red. Aromatically very expressive: jammy, blackberry, preserved prune, herb and leather are present. The palate is dry, full body with medium acidity. Grippy tannins build and coat the mouth with a subtle acidity. Notable mushroom, herb and tannin-formed bitterness build its long finish. Although I like its complexity in aroma and palate, I think it can age for another 3-5 years to soften its tannin. The style of this wine is quite similar to the Saint-Estèphe de Calon Ségur 2018 I tasted two weeks ago.
