遇到尷尬的投訴電話該如何是好？Several Shades Of S 我的SSR戀人 (Toma篇第一章)

記得這款手遊目前只知道有日文和英文版本，在台灣很早結束代理沒有中文了。可惜遊玩時台灣官方只更新到第四位角色後就沒有後續了。當時也就來不及將自己覺得精彩的遊戲對話記錄下來，也就是最為精采的橋段Toma篇的第一章。

平常工作時間有限下，好在還能看Youtuber影片回追當時的遊戲對話，內容偏好日常雖然是英文版而本人英文也不好，就藉由Google 不斷翻譯校對。

以下是紀錄的對話，礙於自己的日記弄丟，只好藉Google輔佐翻譯，其品質粗淺還敬請見諒！

本文的旁邊有將重點精彩的部分放上目錄，方便隨時點選觀看。

主要著重飯店負責人Toma要主角在時限內解決一個尷尬的投訴電話以避免被炒魷魚的處境：

Toma： If you're able to silence this, then I can keep you employed for a while longer.

如果你能把這件事解決掉，我就可以讓你再工作一段時間。

As he said that, he showed me the cell phone with one hand. Just the number was displayed, there was no name to suggest the identity of the caller.

說著，他把手機給我看了。只顯示了號碼，沒有顯示來電者的身分。

Toma：You can finish it in one minute, can't you? Yes. I want you to deal with this customer. It's called handling complaints.

你可以在一分鐘內完成，是吧？是的。我要你跟這位顧客打交道。也就是處理投訴。

He put the phone into my hand.

他把手機放到我手上。

主角：Wouldn't it be better to connect them to the customer services department?

幫他們與客服部門聯絡不是更好嗎？

Toma：Are you stupid? Complaints about hotel don't come to my personal phone. What's wrong? You can't deal with one complaint?

你是傻了嗎？有關酒店的投訴不該由我的私人電話送出。怎麼了？連一筆投訴都處理不了？

He watched me, waiting for me to try. It seemed as though he was going to enjoy what I was about to say. He quietly and calmly watched me from his personal sofa.

他看著並等待我嘗試著。似乎饒有興致的想看我會怎麼說。他從他的私人沙發上沉靜地看著我。

主角：(He thinks that I won't be able to do it.)

他認為我做不到。

I felt regret spread across my chest. I readied myself and put the phone to my ear.

我打從心底感到後悔。我做好準備，將電話貼近耳邊。

這部分最為巧妙的部分！

主角：Hello, this is Toma Kira's phone.

您好，這是 Toma Kira 的電話。

???：Who are you?

是誰？

主角：(A woman?) This is the concierge for the Japanese branch of Royal Shining.

女性? 我是金耀皇家飯店日本分部的禮賓員。

???：Don't lie to me! Put Toma on the phone now!

別騙我！現在就讓 Toma 接電話

It hurt when she screamed and I move the phone away from my ear.

她咆哮時，我感到刺耳的將手機從耳邊移開。

主角：(Wait, does this mean that...?)

等等，這是否意味著…？

This expression "a woman scorned" came to mind.

腦海裡浮現出"（被情人?）被甩掉的女性"。

主角：(No no, Toma seems like the last person who would do something like that.)

(不不，Toma似乎是最不會做這種事的人。)

???：Hey, are you listening to me?! Good, now put Toma on the phone!

嘿，你有聽我說話嗎？! 好，現在就讓 Toma 接電話吧！

主角：You are mistaken, I am but a concierge, I do not have that kind of relationship with Mr. Kira. Mr. Kira is in a meeting right now, so if you have any business to deal with, please direct any questions to me...

您弄錯了，我只是位禮賓員，我和Kira先生不是那種關係。Kira先生現在正在開會，如果您有任何事情要處理，請直接向我提問…

???：There's no point talking to you! Don't you get it?! I'm his girlfriend!

跟你沒有關係！不明白嗎？我是他女友！

The woman's voice was so loud that Toma could also hear.

女性聲音大到連Toma也聽到了。

Toma：She misunderstood after we slept together one time.

有次和她同床共枕後，她便自詡是女友了。

I covered the mouthpiece while I confirmed this with Toma.

我向Toma確認這一點，蓋住了通話孔。

主角：So what this woman is telling me is true?

那麼這個女人告訴我的並無虛言嗎？

Toma：She isn't my girlfriend. We had a one night stand.

不是我女朋友。只不過是一夜情。

主角：(Seriously！) I apologize, but... doesn't that mean you're together?

(真假！)我很抱歉，但是……這不就代表你們在一起了嗎？

Toma：Sleeping with someone once makes you their boyfriend?

與她人睡過一次你就會變成她的男友嗎？

He replied confusedly, repeating my question back to me.

他困惑地回答，與我的問題重疊。

主角：(I couldn't do it if I didn't like the person...)

(對他人如無好感，我是做不到的...)

主角：This woman probably got into this because she likes him.

這個女人大概是因為喜歡他才陷入這樣的處境吧。

Choosing my words carefully, I tried my hardest to comprehend the situation.

我慎選用辭，盡力理解當時的情況。

Toma：Can't you do it without liking the person? What's with that look? Are you misunderstanding something I said?

不喜歡這個人就不能做嗎？那個表情是怎麼回事？你是否誤解我說的話了？

主角：(Is my way of thinking just that fundamentally different...?)

(難道跟我的思考方式迥然不同嗎……？)

Toma：Hey, didn't I tell you to get it done in one minute? Hurry up and settle it.

不是跟你說要在一分鐘內完成嗎？迅速搞定。

I gripped the phone tightly as he urged me on.

當他催促我時，我緊握著手機。

主角：(How did I end up like this?)

事情怎麼會變成這樣？

主角：I apologize for keeping you waiting.

很抱歉讓您久等了。

???：Don't you get me more mad than I already am, woman-

別讓我更生氣了，女人——

主角：I have a message from Mr. Kira.

我有來自Kira先生的留言。

???：A message?

留言？

主角：I won't forget the evening I spent with you.

我無法忘懷與你度過的夜晚。

I could physically feel the joy of the woman through the phone in that moment. However it did nothing to lessen the guilt I felt for the lie I just told her.

那一刻，我能透過手機感受到女人的喜悅。然而並未減輕我剛才因說謊而產生的罪惡感。

???：I see...

我明白了。

主角：It seems it was simply a one night affair. He said, because he knew it was a one night affair, he was able to treat each moment as the last and had a wonderful time with you.

似乎只是一個晚上的事。他說因為明白那個夜晚，所以與你一同度過的美好能將每一刻都當作最後一刻。

主角：He was happy to have met you, but it tears him apart knowing it couldn't last. He hopes you can understand and wants to end on good terms with you.

他很高興見到你，但這讓他心碎，因為他知道這段關係不會持續太久。他希望您能理解並希望與您和平分手。

I myself, didn't really understand what it was I was going on about, and I had no confidence that the woman would believe any of it.

我並不清楚自己在說什麼，也不認為那個女人會相信。

主角：(There's no reason to think it would all be fine...)

(沒道理會認為一切都會好起來...)

I prepared myself to get screamed at when-

我做好要被咆哮的準備—

???：All right...I see...it was just a one night stand with Toma...

好吧……我明白了...這只是和Toma的一夜情…

主角：(Is she really not going to yell at me?)

(她真的不打算對我嘶吼了嗎？)

???：Tell Toma something for me. I'm happy I got to spend time with him too.

幫我轉告Toma。我很高興能和他共度時光。

主角：Of course!

當然可以！

???：Goodbye, thank you very much.

再見，非常感謝。

She quietly put down the phone as she finished.

說完，她靜靜掛了電話。

以上的情節認為是玩其他路線中較為寫實的一面，透過對話推敲出一些細節。

※飯店負責人Toma 開頭所說的"If you're able to silence this," 中的silence這個單字疑似Toma想將某件事"息事寧人"。

※"Complaints about hotel don't come to my personal phone."這段是表示客訴雖是由飯店負責人手機發出，但尷尬的是不該用負責人的手機轉接給飯店客服中心。

※對話中也顯示Toma與電話中的女子兩人對一夜情的定義是迥然不同的。前者認為上床不等於在一起，純粹"性"；後者則不然，認為上床後就是"愛"，自然變情侶。

※one-night stand 一夜情

※on good terms (with someone) 意思為「與...的關係處於好的狀態」。前面加動詞end或是break up，就是end on good terms with you和平分手。

此情節寫實的反應出我們的日常，藉此為參照好應對意料之外的事情
