28. FRAN對於台灣的嚮往

躺在hostel公共空間的地墊上滑著手機，對面一張椅子坐著一位西方女生，同樣戴著圓形膠框眼鏡，看似鬼靈精怪的，接著看著她熟練的從冰箱拿出一袋塑膠袋裝的白色液體，拿出自備的湯匙一口接著一口吃，當時是晚上6點多，她是Fran，來自義大利，正在Gap year，結束後想回義大利念行銷，小時候對於朋友在討論台灣時一無所知，前陣子無意間在網路上看到台灣相關的觀光文章，才發現這是她小時候朋友所討論的那個國家，即使今年10月被在中國工作的父親要求去中國找他，但她還是執意要來台灣，而這個意一執就是一個月。

她在我的筆記本上寫到

Arriving in Kolkata I got a shock, not because of the dirty and smelly streets but because people are just show color. They show color in the way they dress, with their attitude and how they express themselves. It’s probably the animal friendiest country and also with guests people show their big heart. Of course you can find many problems but to see reality you can find them here as anywhere. India is huge and it would take a lifetime to explore every part of it. India is fascinating not only in different landscapes but also how so many different culture with languages and religions can live next to each other. “Incredible India" says the AD for tourists and it says all.
