怎樣應用?
我覺得在以上幾句句子裏,我比較推介大家學習一下第8,第11和14句:
- 我喜歡第8句“It was staring everyone straight in the face...”的畫面,它的意思是說「擺在大家面前」,顯然易見的意思,但他字面的意思反而是「它就盯着大家看」,感覺很有趣,用起來也很有個性!例如:
- This mode of operation is not sustainable and it is staring everyone straight in the face. (這個營運模式沒有可持繼性,而這事實也擺在大家眼前。)
- 至於第11句,focus on the notion that就是專注於這樣一個觀念。我認為,我們在作文中,也能經常應用得到,例如:
- He focuses on the notion that studying is only to make his parents happy, no wonder it feels that meaningless to him. (他專注於學習就是為了令父母開心的一個觀念,難怪學習對他來說一點意義都沒有。)
- 第14句Perhaps the most important of all,就是「也許最重要的是」,我覺得很適合在文章結尾道出某個經歷的學習重點,例如:
- Perhaps the most important of all is to communicate politely and sincerely when we disagree.(也許最重要的是,我們在意見不合的時候,有禮貌與誠懇地溝通。)
