The Recluse Dongpo
My personal favorite!! You get to sail with Su Dongpo, admiring the magnificent mountains and rivers, then stroll across the bridge to enjoy the scenery of West Lake. When you hear Su Dongpo recite his poems, you suddenly understand why he wrote them in the first place. By the end, I was a little touched and almost teary-eyed, haha~
The only downside is that Su Dongpo and his brother Su Zhe’s facial expressions look a bit flat and 2D, without much variation.

Eddie and I
The animation is quite beautiful, and it was nice to learn some American Sign Language through the interactive video experience!
The story is fairly simple, but every time I had to interact with the little boy, Ron, he would just stand there motionless in front of me. The player has to pick up the required items in the scene and hand them to him.
After doing this a few times, I couldn’t help but think, “Come on, you can’t hear, but you’re not stupid—if you see me pick up one stone for you, can’t you grab the second one yourself? Why are you still standing there waiting for me?!”
But I guess that just shows how immersive the experience actually is.

Happy Shadow
This film felt more like playing a simple game — I was busy using the controller to change shapes. But because of that, I didn’t really have time to pay attention to the story, so by the end, I didn’t quite understand the full concept the film was trying to express.

The sad story of the little mouse who wanted to become somebody
The film really has a Disney–Pixar vibe — the scenes and characters are beautifully made. Even though it was the only one I watched this time that had English audio only and no Chinese subtitles, I could still roughly follow the story despite my poor English.
According to the program description, it’s “a sharp satire of the modern workplace,” which is quite accurate. The story is short but has some strong moments, and the ending breaks away from the usual stereotype that animations like this must have a happy ending. It’s definitely the one that left the deepest impression on me this time.
The exhibition setup was quite spectacular, and being able to freely walk around the Titanic’s engine room, deck, and cabins during the film was really captivating — it truly felt like being part of the scene.
A small drawback, though, was that there weren’t many interactive elements. Only a few small objects could be touched or moved, and there was no interaction with the characters in the scene. I also expected to see a sequence showing the ship tilting as it sank, but it only went as far as the scene in the captain’s room when the iceberg was hit — a bit disappointing~
