物歸原主

　　有一個在外地經商的人，他的孩子在家鄉過世了。

　　在這個生意人回到家之後，妻子對他說：「若有人將價值不斐的寶石交付給我保管，如今這個寶石的主人決定將它收回，那麼我應該怎麼做才好？」

　　丈夫回答道：「當然是物歸原主。」

　　妻子說：「上帝如今已把我們的寶石帶回天上了。」

莊子-鼓盆而歌

　　據說，莊子的妻子死了，惠施前來弔唁，看到莊子叉開兩腿坐在地上，敲著瓦盆在唱歌。惠施不禁責怪他，人家為你生兒育女，現在剛死你就歌舞，太無情了吧？

莊子說：

「她剛死，我怎麼會沒有感慨呢？但是認真想想，她原本就是沒有生命的。

不但沒有生命，也沒有形體；不但沒有形體，而且沒有氣。

她混雜在恍惚之中，變化有了氣，氣變化有了形體，形體變化有了生命，現在只不過是又變化而去了。就像春夏秋冬四季輪轉一樣自然。

她現在正舒服地睡在天地的大屋子裡，而我卻在這裡嚎啕大哭。

也太不通達了，所以我才不哭了，改為歌唱。」

「一切來自大地，一切也都將還給大地。」

Not only is there no life, but there is no form; Not only is there no form, but there is no qi.

She was mixed in a trance, the change had qi, the change of qi had a form, the change of form had life, and now it was only another change.

As natural as the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
