About the Burnout

Absolutely! When you pay more effort into something and work hard for that, but nothing gives you feedback, you will be burnout (you are being burnout?? ).

For example, the project of your job, and communication with your family relationships.

Just like the article says: a fire stops burning when it has nothing left to feed on.

No, I'm not surprised that so much of office workers experience burnout. Include me also experienced that. I don't know how to describe that, it's a sudden feeling to me. Even how much I love this job, I can't cheer up to do anything. Till to the weekend comes, I put down the papers and go outside, drink a cup of tea, watch some fun videos, and then back to the job, I find I can cheer up and pay more passion.

I think I'm not the only worker to face this situation but also most of workers. So, I'm not surprised by that.

3.

I think the most stressful of my job is the "deadline". In my company, every project has its own deadline, before the deadline comes, I need to find the right vendors and control the project process, and these things also have small deadlines.

And you know, there is not only one project in the company, if all of the projects work together, it will be more stressful for me.

I think that doesn't pay much attention to many companies in Taiwan. Compared to employees' mental health, it is more important in business achievement.

So I think not only my company but also many other companies are in the same situation.

But I know some big companies or global companies have complete systems to take care of employees' mental health. Like DHL, ASML, TSMC, and so on.

5.

If you are working at the office, just put down the work and take a rest. Find a colleague you can trust and talk to him or her.

Or you can take a day off, just hand around, to go shopping or drink a coffee or do nothing, just stay at home and get a sleep.

believe me, the job won't make a big trouble when you take a day off.

1.

I think that is the technology industry. I have heard my friends mention that. They are working in the technology industry, and they always need to work overtime to push the workload. Some of them are shifted engineers, even on holidays or at midnight, they need to pick up the phone call from the company and rush to the company to solve the issues.

I hope we can take 3 days off per week. But I know that is impossible now for Taiwan. Because it will lack labor and may need to change people's life structure.

A colleague who has a similar business is my first choice to talk with.

Because I can ask kind of these colleagues to help me to solve my problems.

If these colleagues can't solve my problem then ask the supervisor for help.

It seems that no these kinds of people around me, haha.

Everybody thinks they are the most stressful person, even a housekeeping worker is stressful, too. Honesty, I prefer to work at an office rather than housekeeping because housekeeping has no income and is usually considered natural to do these things.

I don't know what he wants to express. Normal, people try to be human then cause them burnout. Im other words, people get burnouts because they manage to be human. If I wasn't a human, why I would get burnouts? Or, maybe he wants to tell us: If we are always lazy to be humans and don't want to think more, then we are like animals. When we are like animals, we become seldom to use our brains and easier to burn out.
