Artisan Wallah

在自己開始決定設立這個部落格，或說是更遠大的目標：一個專案品牌計畫之時，協同規劃的朋友問我這段時間，在當地有沒有任何一個最有感受的當地字詞用語。當下腦中閃過許多單字，我最後找到了最有連結的一個字： Wallah，所謂“人”的意思。

當我從產品設計領域轉往了一個所不熟悉的方向：織品創作，是喀什米爾讓我理解到自己接下來想成為個怎樣的人：

透過所聞所見，我冀許探索更多領域，藉由概念的執行連結更多有趣的事情，為自己與這個世界帶來一點的靈光乍現，以及一連串的些許改變。

我不擅長使用恰當的口語表達，寫字文章也常常表述太長篇幅，只能藉由實際作品創作為我發聲傳遞，更希望作品的生命得到觀者你們的延續，讓概念繼續演繹下去。

於是乎你我都成了一個個的匠人（Artisan Wallah）。

關於Artisanwallah專案：

Upon starting this blog, or hopefully this brand, my friend asked me what was the most interesting word I found throughout the months in Srinagar. A few came to mind. Eventually I decided on “wallah”.

As I changed my role from an industrial designer to a textile designer in training, I realized the next wallah I want to become is an artisan — a craftsman and an artist combined.

Through my eyes and hands, I want to explore new territories and make more interesting… something. And if I could exchange a little of myself with the world, it would be quite enough.

I am not a verbal person, so my works will speak for me. And I hope it resonates with you and create new dialogs.
