Introduction: Restoring Faith is Restoring Life
Brothers and sisters, peace be with you! Today, we focus on Book Romans 1:17, a verse that is not only central to the Book of Romans but also a core truth of the Christian life: " For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’" (NKJV)
I once met a psychiatrist while we were taking local GO train home. He suddenly received a call from one of his patients who had apparently failed the exam for graduation in his school and was having an emotional breakdown—shaking and incoherent. The doctor gently said to him, "Just shake, don't be afraid. Let me tell you a story."
He told a story about "The Lioness's Hunt"—saying that when a lioness catches its live prey, it doesn't immediately kill it, but only knocks it unconscious; therefore, the moment of being caught in the situation is paradoxically the safest. After hearing it, I asked the doctor, "Is that story true?" He shrugged: "Of course it's made up! But if this way can build his faith to stop his emotional broken down, that's enough."
What the psychiatrist did was not tell a "one hundred percent true story," but restore a person's faith to move his bad situation into another good feeling.
I often feel that I also take quite a bit of business from psychiatrists—except, I rely not on made-up human stories, but on God's Word and Promise.
Today those who are depressed, suicidal, anxious, and long tormented by fear are one by one restored in God's presence. This is because what truly collapses in a person is not their emotion, but the collapse of their faith.
In the Bible, Paul knew the importance of faith, and thus he said:
"For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’" (Rom 1:17)
If the starting point of "faith" is skewed and twisted, it leads to the wrong direction; if the starting point of "faith" is correct, one can reach the destination.
So today, let us consider "from faith to faith" (or by faith, to faith):
What is the starting point of faith? How is faith refined? How is faith maintained until the end?
Let's pray
Dear Lord Jesus, thank you. This world is full of voices that cause our faith to collapse. Bring us back to the foundation of faith today, that we may become a people who "live by faith until the end." Build us up, leading us from faith to faith. In Jesus' name, Amen!
I. The Starting Point of Faith: God Created the World by Faith
The Bible begins by showing us: "And God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light."
This is a declaration of faith. Faith is not blind; it is the power of creation.
The psychiatrist gave his patient faith, but not necessarily all the facts. However, the faith God gives humanity comes with promise and power—His "promise" to Abraham was not the "full truth." He did not tell Abraham about the famine, the war, the circumcision, or the wandering. He only told him:
"Your descendants shall be as numerous as the stars in the sky."
Why?
Because the foundation of faith is not "knowing all the details," but "believing God's promise is true." The psychiatrist gives psychological hope; God gives a covenantal promise in life.
Our service in the church is the same—it is not about explaining every single analysis, but giving people the foundation of faith. Among those we serve, some have severe depression, attempted suicide multiple times, and lived lives of hell. But when their faith is rebuilt, they are restored, healed, and gain hope.
Because—Faith is the starting point of everything.
We must never forget the first time we were set free, the first time we were healed, the first time our lives were moved and turned around. Forgetting these moments allows our faith to be stolen.
II. The Refining of Faith: The Battlefield between Evil Spirits and the Holy Spirit
The true battle is not against emotion, behavior, or environment; it is the battle of faith.
The way evil spirits attack people is by seizing the foundation of faith.
For example:
1. The spirit of the great fish (pride/image): It grounds faith in reputation/face. It makes you base your faith on "what others think." Once others disagree with you, you completely collapse.
2. The spirit of lust/sensuality: It grounds faith in feelings. If it feels good, you believe; if it doesn't, you don't. This faith cannot withstand the storm.
3. The spirit of weariness/slumber: It puts your faith to sleep. It stops you from praying or reading the Bible, and you gradually lose the ability to "expect God's action."
4. The spirit of the flesh/survival: It makes you place your faith in survival. You just want to stay alive, daring not to risk, afraid to give, and unwilling to obey.
No matter which spirit, they share one common goal: To breach the fortress of faith. When the fortress of faith is taken, people live in fear, worry, anger, and powerlessness.
However, the Bible tells us Paul was an expert in attacking the heart—refining people's faith, allowing it to be purified from the chaos.
Refining = Tearing down the old system of faith Purifying = Building the new foundation of faith
If there is only "refining" but no "purifying," faith will not grow. If there is only "purifying" but no "refining," the foundation will be unstable.
Many among us, who were once considered failures by society, were refined and rebuilt by God. Once their faith became steady, their lives were transformed, becoming incredibly beautiful.
Because the true battlefield is within this question: "What do I believe?"
III. The Nature of Faith: Not a Law of Works, but a Law of Faith
Paul says in Romans 3:26–27:
"Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith."
In other words: Faith is the beginning Faith is the process Faith is the conclusion
If you rely on the law of works, all your efforts will be rendered useless. If you rely on the law of faith, your life will be upheld by God.
It is by faith that we can keep the Law; it is not the Law that makes us righteous, but faith that enables us to live like righteous people.
Conclusion: Hold Onto Faith Till the End, and Wonderful Things Will Happen
Do you remember the psychiatrist? I asked him, "Did you eventually tell the patient the truth?"
He said, "Yes, I did. But once his faith was strong, hearing the truth didn't make him collapse anymore."
He concluded: "My job was to train him not to be caught by the lion."
Today, God is also training us: Not to escape meeting storms, but to enable us not to be caught by the devil.
If you can enter by faith, you can certainly walk to the very end by faith.
When you hold onto your faith— Sickness will be healed Emotions will be restored Children will be transformed by God Families will be rebuilt You will walk out of the bondage of the knowledge of good and evil Life will enter a profoundly beautiful state
Because: The righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’
Closing Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank you. Today, bring our faith back to its foundation. Help us overcome the distractions of evil spirits, the lies of the world, and the limitations of our own logic. Make us a people, disciples who "live by faith until the end." In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

ខ្ញុំធ្លាប់បានជួបគ្រូពេទ្យចិត្តសាស្ត្រម្នាក់នៅពេលខ្ញុំប្រឡងប័ណ្ណបើកបរ។ គាត់កំពុងទទួលទូរស័ព្ទមួយ ដែលហាក់ដូចជាអ្នកដែលធ្លាក់ការប្រឡងប័ណ្ណបើកបរ ហើយមានអារម្មណ៍បាក់ទឹកចិត្ត រហូតដល់ខ្លួនញ័រ និយាយមិនចេញ។ គាត់ក៏បាននិយាយដោយទន់ភ្លន់ថា៖ «ញ័រទៅ មិនបាច់ខ្លាចទេ ឲ្យខ្ញុំនិយាយរឿងមួយឲ្យអ្នកស្តាប់»។
គាត់បាននិយាយរឿងមួយអំពី «ការបរបាញ់របស់មេតោ»—ដោយនិយាយថា មេតោមិនបានខាំសម្លាប់សត្វដែលវាចាប់បានភ្លាមៗនោះទេ វាគ្រាន់តែធ្វើឲ្យសត្វនោះសន្លប់តែប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ ដូច្នេះ ពេលដែលត្រូវគេចាប់បាន គឺជានាទីដែលមិនគ្រោះថ្នាក់បំផុតទៅវិញទេ។
ខ្ញុំបានសួរគាត់បន្ទាប់ពីស្តាប់ចប់ថា៖ «រឿងនេះជាការពិតឬ?»
គាត់គ្រវីស្មា៖ «ពិតណាស់ ខ្ញុំបានប្រឌិតវាឡើង! ប៉ុន្តែបើវាអាចកសាងសេចក្ដីជំនឿរបស់គាត់បាន នោះគ្រប់គ្រាន់ហើយ»។
តាមពិត អ្វីដែលគ្រូពេទ្យចិត្តសាស្ត្រធ្វើ គឺមិនមែននិយាយ «រឿងពិតមួយរយភាគរយ» នោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែគឺការស្តារសេចក្ដីជំនឿរបស់មនុស្ស។
ខ្ញុំតែងតែមានអារម្មណ៍ថា ខ្ញុំក៏បានដណ្តើមអាជីវកម្មរបស់គ្រូពេទ្យចិត្តសាស្ត្រមួយចំនួនដែរ—គ្រាន់តែខ្ញុំមិនពឹងផ្អែកលើរឿងដែលមនុស្សប្រឌិតនោះទេ តែខ្ញុំពឹងផ្អែកលើព្រះបន្ទូលរបស់ព្រះ។
អស់អ្នកដែលធ្លាក់ទឹកចិត្ត ចង់ធ្វើអត្តឃាត ថប់បារម្ភ និងរងទុក្ខដោយការភ័យខ្លាចជាយូរមកហើយ ត្រូវបានស្តារឡើងវិញនៅក្នុងវត្តមានរបស់ព្រះម្តងមួយៗ។ ពីព្រោះអ្វីដែលបាក់បែកក្នុងមនុស្សពិតប្រាកដ មិនមែនជាអារម្មណ៍នោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែគឺជា ការដួលរលំនៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ។
ប៉ុលជ្រាបច្បាស់ពីសារៈសំខាន់នៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ ហេតុនេះហើយបានជាលោកពោលថា៖
«ដ្បិតសេចក្តីសុចរិតរបស់ព្រះ ត្រូវសំដែងឲ្យឃើញក្នុងសេចក្ដីជំនឿនោះហើយ ឲ្យបានទៅដល់សេចក្ដីជំនឿទៀត ដូចមានសេចក្ដីចែងទុកមកថា មនុស្សសុចរិតនឹងរស់នៅដោយសារសេចក្ដីជំនឿ» (រ៉ូម ១:១៧)។
បើ «ជំនឿ» នៅចំណុចចាប់ផ្តើមខុស វានឹងនាំទៅរកទិសដៅខុស។ បើ «ជំនឿ» នៅចំណុចចាប់ផ្តើមត្រឹមត្រូវ វានឹងអាចដើរទៅដល់គោលដៅបាន។
ដូច្នេះ ថ្ងៃនេះ ចូរយើងគិតពី «ចេញពីសេចក្ដីជំនឿ ទៅដល់សេចក្ដីជំនឿ» នេះ៖
តើចំណុចចាប់ផ្តើមនៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿគឺជាអ្វី? តើសេចក្ដីជំនឿត្រូវបានចម្រាញ់យ៉ាងដូចម្តេច? តើសេចក្ដីជំនឿត្រូវបានរក្សាដល់ចុងក្រោយយ៉ាងដូចម្តេច?
ការអធិស្ឋាន
ព្រះយេស៊ូវអើយ សូមអរគុណព្រះអង្គ។ ពិភពលោកនេះពោរពេញដោយសំឡេងដែលធ្វើឲ្យសេចក្ដីជំនឿរបស់យើងដួលរលំ។ សូមនាំយើងត្រឡប់ទៅរកឫសគល់នៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿនៅថ្ងៃនេះ ដើម្បីឲ្យយើងក្លាយជាមនុស្សដែល «រស់នៅដោយសេចក្ដីជំនឿរហូតដល់ចុងក្រោយ»។ សូមកសាងយើង ដើម្បីឲ្យយើងចេញពីសេចក្ដីជំនឿ ទៅដល់សេចក្ដីជំនឿ។ នៅក្នុងព្រះនាមព្រះយេស៊ូវ អាម៉ែន!
១. ចំណុចចាប់ផ្តើមនៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ៖ ព្រះបានបង្កើតពិភពលោកដោយសេចក្ដីជំនឿ
ព្រះគម្ពីរចាប់ផ្តើមដោយបង្ហាញយើងថា៖ «ព្រះមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា ត្រូវមានពន្លឺ នោះក៏មានពន្លឺ»។
នេះគឺជា ការប្រកាសនៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ។ សេចក្ដីជំនឿមិនមែនជាការងងឹតងងល់នោះទេ តែជា អំណាចនៃការបង្កើត។
គ្រូពេទ្យចិត្តសាស្ត្រផ្តល់សេចក្ដីជំនឿដល់អ្នកជំងឺ ប៉ុន្តែអ្វីដែលគាត់និយាយមិនមែនសុទ្ធតែជាការពិតនោះទេ។ ប៉ុន្តែសេចក្ដីជំនឿដែលព្រះប្រទានដល់មនុស្សជាតិ គឺមកជាមួយ ការសន្យា និងអំណាច—«ការសន្យា» ដែលទ្រង់មានចំពោះអ័ប្រាហាំ មិនមែនជា «សេចក្តីពិតទាំងស្រុង» នោះទេ។ ទ្រង់មិនបានប្រាប់អ័ប្រាហាំថា គាត់នឹងជួបគ្រោះទុរ្ភិក្ស សង្គ្រាម ពិធីកាត់ស្បែក ឬការរសាត់អណ្តែតនោះទេ។ ទ្រង់គ្រាន់តែប្រាប់គាត់ថា៖
«ពូជអំបូររបស់អ្នកនឹងច្រើនដូចផ្កាយនៅលើមេឃ»។
ហេតុអ្វី?
ពីព្រោះឫសគល់នៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ មិនមែនជា «ការដឹងគ្រប់លម្អិត» នោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែជា «ការជឿថាការសន្យារបស់ព្រះជាការពិត»។ អ្វីដែលគ្រូពេទ្យចិត្តសាស្ត្រផ្តល់ គឺជាក្តីសង្ឃឹមផ្លូវចិត្ត។ អ្វីដែលព្រះប្រទាន គឺជា ការសន្យាដ៏ជាសម្ពន្ធមេត្រីក្នុងជីវិត។
សេវាកម្មរបស់យើងនៅក្នុងក្រុមជំនុំក៏ដូចគ្នាដែរ—មិនមែននិយាយការវិភាគទាំងអស់ប្រាប់មនុស្សនោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែគឺផ្តល់ ឫសគល់នៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ ដល់ពួកគេ។ ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នកដែលយើងបម្រើ មានអ្នកខ្លះមានជំងឺធ្លាក់ទឹកចិត្តធ្ងន់ធ្ងរ ធ្លាប់ប៉ុនប៉ងធ្វើអត្តឃាតជាច្រើនដង និងបានរស់នៅក្នុងជីវិតដ៏ដូចជាស្ថាននរក។ ប៉ុន្តែនៅពេលដែលសេចក្ដីជំនឿរបស់ពួកគេត្រូវបានកសាងឡើងវិញ ពួកគេក៏បានទទួលការស្តារឡើងវិញ ការព្យាបាល និងទទួលបានក្តីសង្ឃឹម។
ពីព្រោះ—សេចក្ដីជំនឿគឺជាចំណុចចាប់ផ្តើមនៃអ្វីៗទាំងអស់។
យើងមិនត្រូវបំភ្លេចជាដាច់ខាតនូវពេលដំបូងដែលយើងត្រូវបានដោះលែង ពេលដំបូងដែលយើងបានជាសះស្បើយ ពេលដំបូងដែលជីវិតរបស់យើងបានផ្លាស់ប្តូរ និងរំជួលចិត្ត។ ការបំភ្លេចនូវអ្វីទាំងនេះ គឺធ្វើឲ្យសេចក្ដីជំនឿរបស់យើងត្រូវបានលួច។
២. ការចម្រាញ់សេចក្ដីជំនឿ៖ សមរភូមិប្រយុទ្ធគ្នារវាងវិញ្ញាណអាក្រក់ និងព្រះវិញ្ញាណបរិសុទ្ធ
ការប្រយុទ្ធពិតប្រាកដ គឺមិនមែនប្រឆាំងនឹងអារម្មណ៍ អាកប្បកិរិយា ឬបរិយាកាសនោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែគឺជា ការប្រយុទ្ធនៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ។
របៀបដែលវិញ្ញាណអាក្រក់វាយប្រហារមនុស្ស គឺដោយការដណ្តើមយកឫសគល់នៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ។
ជាឧទាហរណ៍៖
1. វិញ្ញាណនៃត្រីធំ (មោទនភាព/កិត្តិយស)—ដែលធ្វើឲ្យសេចក្ដីជំនឿស្ថិតនៅលើ កេរ្តិ៍ឈ្មោះ/មុខមាត់។ វាធ្វើឲ្យអ្នកដាក់សេចក្ដីជំនឿរបស់អ្នកលើ «អ្វីដែលអ្នកដទៃគិត»។ នៅពេលដែលអ្នកដទៃមិនយល់ស្របនឹងអ្នក អ្នកនឹងដួលរលំទាំងស្រុង។
2. វិញ្ញាណនៃតណ្ហា/ចំណង់—ដែលធ្វើឲ្យសេចក្ដីជំនឿស្ថិតនៅលើ អារម្មណ៍។ បើមានអារម្មណ៍ល្អ អ្នកជឿ បើមិនមានអារម្មណ៍ល្អ អ្នកមិនជឿ។ សេចក្ដីជំនឿប្រភេទនេះមិនអាចទ្រាំទ្រនឹងព្យុះបានទេ។
3. វិញ្ញាណនៃភាពនឿយហត់/ងងុយដេក—ដែលធ្វើឲ្យសេចក្ដីជំនឿរបស់អ្នក លង់លក់។ វាធ្វើឲ្យអ្នកមិនអាចអធិស្ឋាន ឬអានព្រះគម្ពីរបាន ហើយអ្នកក៏បាត់បង់សមត្ថភាពក្នុងការ «រំពឹងពីកិច្ចការរបស់ព្រះ» ជាបណ្តើរៗ។
4. វិញ្ញាណនៃសាច់ឈាម/ការរស់រានមានជីវិត—ដែលធ្វើឲ្យអ្នកដាក់សេចក្ដីជំនឿរបស់អ្នកលើ ការរស់រានមានជីវិត។ អ្នកគ្រាន់តែចង់នៅរស់ មិនហ៊ានប្រថុយ ខ្លាចថ្វាយ និងមិនព្រមស្តាប់បង្គាប់។
ទោះជាវិញ្ញាណណាក៏ដោយ ពួកគេមានគោលដៅរួមតែមួយគត់៖ ទម្លាយបន្ទាយនៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ។ នៅពេលដែលបន្ទាយនៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿត្រូវបានដណ្តើមយក មនុស្សនឹងរស់នៅក្នុងភាពភ័យខ្លាច ការព្រួយបារម្ភ កំហឹង និងភាពទន់ខ្សោយ។
ទោះយ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយ ព្រះគម្ពីរប្រាប់យើងថា ប៉ុលគឺជាអ្នកជំនាញក្នុងការវាយប្រហារចិត្ត—ការចម្រាញ់សេចក្ដីជំនឿរបស់មនុស្ស អនុញ្ញាតឲ្យវាត្រូវបានសម្អាតចេញពីភាពវឹកវរ។
ការចម្រាញ់ = ការរុះរើប្រព័ន្ធសេចក្ដីជំនឿចាស់ ការសម្អាត = ការកសាងឫសគល់សេចក្ដីជំនឿថ្មី
បើមានតែ «ការចម្រាញ់» តែគ្មាន «ការសម្អាត» ទេ សេចក្ដីជំនឿនឹងមិនលូតលាស់ឡើយ។ បើមានតែ «ការសម្អាត» តែគ្មាន «ការចម្រាញ់» ទេ ឫសគល់នឹងមិនស្ថិតស្ថេរឡើយ។
ក្នុងចំណោមយើង មានមនុស្សជាច្រើន ដែលធ្លាប់ត្រូវបានគេចាត់ទុកថាជាមនុស្សបរាជ័យដោយសង្គម ត្រូវបានព្រះចម្រាញ់ និងកសាងឡើងវិញ។ នៅពេលដែលសេចក្ដីជំនឿរបស់ពួកគេរឹងមាំ ជីវិតរបស់ពួកគេក៏បានផ្លាស់ប្តូរ ក្លាយជាស្រស់ស្អាតមិនគួរឲ្យជឿ។
ពីព្រោះសមរភូមិពិតប្រាកដ គឺស្ថិតនៅក្នុងសំណួរនេះ៖ «តើខ្ញុំជឿអ្វី?»
៣. លក្ខណៈនៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ៖ មិនមែនជាក្រឹត្យវិន័យនៃការប្រព្រឹត្ត តែជាក្រឹត្យវិន័យនៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ
ប៉ុលមានប្រសាសន៍នៅក្នុងរ៉ូម ៣:២៦-២៧ ថា៖
«បើដូច្នោះ តើអាចអួតបាននៅត្រង់ណា? គឺមិនបានអួតឡើយ តើដោយក្រឹត្យវិន័យណា? ដោយក្រឹត្យវិន័យដែលប្រព្រឹត្តឬ? ទេ គឺដោយក្រឹត្យវិន័យនៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿវិញ»។
ម្យ៉ាងវិញទៀត៖ សេចក្ដីជំនឿគឺជាការចាប់ផ្តើម សេចក្ដីជំនឿគឺជាដំណើរការ សេចក្ដីជំនឿគឺជាលទ្ធផល
បើអ្នកពឹងផ្អែកលើក្រឹត្យវិន័យនៃការប្រព្រឹត្ត កិច្ចការទាំងអស់របស់អ្នកនឹងឥតប្រយោជន៍។ បើអ្នកពឹងផ្អែកលើក្រឹត្យវិន័យនៃសេចក្ដីជំនឿ ជីវិតរបស់អ្នកនឹងត្រូវបានព្រះទ្រទ្រង់។
គឺដោយសារសេចក្ដីជំនឿ ទើបយើងអាចរក្សាក្រឹត្យវិន័យបាន។ មិនមែនជាក្រឹត្យវិន័យដែលធ្វើឲ្យយើងបានសុចរិតនោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែគឺជា សេចក្ដីជំនឿដែលអនុញ្ញាតឲ្យយើងរស់នៅដូចមនុស្សសុចរិត។
សេចក្ដីសន្និដ្ឋាន៖ រក្សាសេចក្ដីជំនឿដល់ចុងក្រោយ ហើយការអស្ចារ្យនឹងកើតឡើង
តើអ្នកនៅចាំគ្រូពេទ្យចិត្តសាស្ត្រនោះទេ? ខ្ញុំបានសួរគាត់ថា៖ «តើក្រោយមកអ្នកបានប្រាប់ការពិតដល់អ្នកជំងឺនោះឬទេ?»
