阿平伯好,大家好!莧菜看起來不起眼,其實是很耐操、也很有營養的一種菜。

那我們先聊生長期吧,莧菜從播種到可以採收,大概要多久?
Let’s start with the growing period. How long does amaranth take from planting to harvest?
莧菜伯 / Amaranth Uncle:
很快,大概 20 到 30 天就能收第一批,而且只要天氣熱、日照夠,它就會一直長。
Pretty fast—about 20 to 30 days for the first harvest. With warm weather and enough sunlight, it keeps growing.

原來是夏天的好朋友!那種植莧菜,有什麼關鍵嗎?
No wonder it’s a summer favorite! Any key tips for growing it?
莧菜伯 / Amaranth Uncle:
它不挑土,但怕積水。保持排水好、澆水勤一點,葉子就會又嫩又漂亮。
It’s not picky about soil, but it doesn’t like waterlogging. Good drainage and regular watering keep the leaves tender and vibrant.

很多人小時候都有吃莧菜補血的印象,這是真的嗎?
Many people remember eating amaranth as a “blood-boosting” veggie when they were kids. Is that true?
莧菜伯 / Amaranth Uncle:
是真的。莧菜含鐵量高,還有葉酸和纖維,對氣色和腸胃都不錯,汆燙後拌蒜最清甜。
Yes. Amaranth is rich in iron, folate, and fiber—great for circulation and digestion. Blanching and tossing with garlic brings out its natural sweetness.
