INT. 磊勁台北辦公室 – DAWN

 半年前。大會議室裡，一場跨國遠距視訊會議正在進行。

 分割螢幕上，有來自美商賀奇公司的代表團，

Ms. Joyce，在美國總部的產品經理，36歲，紅髮碧眼的老外，氣勢凌厲。Sanjay印度加爾各答工程師、Tina香港代理商。

台北這邊，有磊勁美國專案小組的總經理WAYNE韓斯懷，46歲，滿頭濃密始灰白髮色；MANDY沈曼、和幾名小工程師嚴陣以待。

JOYCE

-We're really not happy with how things are going. The schedule is way off from what we expected. And if your company can't get those top-notch goods to our California warehouse by November 18th, I'm afraid we might have to drop the bomb and cancel the order. And you guessed it, it could even end up in a court showdown!

韓斯懷

-Hi Joyce, it's Hugh here. I just wanted to let you know that Hatch should be getting those earlier samples this week. They'll definitely meet the quality you asked for, and I'm pretty confident that everything will go according to plan.

JOYCE

-We've been talking about the quality problems for three months now. Honestly, I'm really frustrated with the products you've been sending us. It's been a lot of wasted time with these samples, and they're just not suitable for our market. If you send us another poor sample the fourth time, I want you to know that both you and your company will face serious consequences, including breach of contract and a loss of trust that's been there from the beginning.

Joyce越說越火大，看著桌上磊勁公司的產品sample，是一台小型的智慧監控套件，Joyce氣到滿口髒話，手上拿起產品作勢要丟掉，幾乎要從螢幕炸出來。

沈曼

-Joyce, I completely understand why you're so upset about the last sample – it wasn't up to par, and we admit that.

JOYCE

-Who am I speaking with? Is this our first time talking?

沈曼 

-This is Mandy Shen, and I'm now leading our product development team. I'll be taking the reins on this project from this point forward.  

-Before our meeting today, I conducted a thorough review and identified a critical issue with the PCB board. It's causing a low voltage current problem, which is why the previous samples failed your test last month.

沈曼不疾不徐地把產品的電路圖、3D爆炸圖，和測試報告的檔案，一一共享在屏幕上，解釋產品原始設計的瑕疵。

沈曼

-I need to emphasize that the ID design doesn't align well with the electronic I/O components from your side. Essentially, if we, at Leis Technology Company, are not allowed to make adjustments to the original design for this project, it simply won't be able to achieve the final outcome you had in mind.

沈曼

-We were initially asked to produce samples based on the layout designed by the engineer at HATCH Company. Now that we've identified these issues, how about we work together to address them? I believe that by making some adjustments to the design, we can achieve a much-improved result. I'm also glad to present both you and Mr. HATCH with a brand-new concept and a flawless sample in person.

Joyce被這初次見面，充滿自信的女生給震住了，哪裡來這個叫Mandy的產品經理啊，她跟之前幾個磊勁公司的高管，氣質完全不一樣。技術能力也比較有說服力。

JOYCE

-Okay. I'm offering one last chance to you and your company. You need to back up what you've said today. Let's work on the bug issues together with our engineering team and provide me with a report. If you can convince me that the changes will be made, go ahead and make them. Once you have the updated sample ready, I'll arrange a meeting for you and Mr. HATCH at our headquarters. This is the maximum flexibility I can offer. If it doesn't work out, it's a setback for both of us. Do we understand each other?

沈曼

-Yes, it's crystal clear. Thank you very much for giving our team this chance. Trust me, we won't disappoint you!

沈曼信心滿滿的態度，至少讓參加這場會議的眾人如釋重負了。

剛剛被Joyce火嗆的韓斯懷表情複雜，不知是否該為沈曼高興，還是為自己沒法hold住客戶而有點尷尬。
