每年學測英文作文佳作可分成兩種：
１信手捻來型：作者可能是母語者或是對於英文的掌控能力遠超過其他考生的那種。
２符合要求型：作品達到四項評分指標優等等級。
對於大多數考生來說，理解「符合要求型」佳作是較有效率的得分方向。
大考中心給的四項評分指標包含「內容」、「組織」、「文法句構」、「字彙拼字」，佳作是在這四項指標都拿近滿分的作品，研究佳作在這四項目如何呈現，學起來用到自己的作文中就是得分的捷徑。

第一段
第一段 開場白
在黃色主題句之前未上色的是開場白
有兩句：
１．定義什麼是颱風假
（１）「組織」項目加分：
通常建議學生開場白可直接翻譯題目提示，下定義顯示出更高的「組織」能力。
（２）「文法句構」項目加分：
The typhoon breaks, which are determined and announced by city governments based on weather forecast, are ment to… 形容詞子句，第一句就使用形容詞子句給人的印象相當好。
２．會有人不待在家
（１）「組織」項目加分：
鋪陳主題句的作用明顯
轉承語詞 however, despite
第一段 主題句（topic sentence）黃色
開門見山：扎扎實實把圖片有兩種情況講出來，且沒有文法或是拼字錯誤。
整篇作文若能夠沒有或很少文法、拼字錯誤就能拿到不錯的分數，可望從13~15分再往上加分。
第一段 支持句（supporting sentences）藍色
兩種情況（藍色）＋ 支持細節（未上色）
１．賺到一天假
（１）「組織」項目加分：

１．整篇文章：
言之有物－論述發展符合題目要求，且支持細節皆能有效支撐論點。
這個跟「列關鍵字」的能力有關，請和老師討論自己的關鍵字進步方向。若列關鍵字的能力練好，讓整篇文章的流暢度大增，絕對會反映在分數上。
２．第一段
兩張圖是因果關係的安排很棒，展示出有延伸論述的能力
３．第二段
（１）利用 As I mentioned in the first paragraph,... 顯示出把兩段串連在一起的企圖心
（２）舉例是很聰明的拿分方向，編故事很ＯＫ，不用講親身經驗。
練習
請嘗試像上面那樣分析佳作，找出符合四項評分標準的地方，多做幾次，順手後，自然也能寫出來相似的作文。
