很喜歡《Email I Can't Send》這張專輯，這張專輯歌如其專輯名，寫一些無法寄出的故事和低語。這首歌專輯最人氣的兩首歌應該是〈Becase I Liked a Boy〉和〈Nonsense〉吧，但其他歌和歌詞也好好聽，值得細品。
Sabrina最擅長寫複雜的情緒，悲歌從來不是純粹的悲傷，生氣也不是純粹的生氣，就連甜蜜戀曲有時也藏著幽默毒辣的細節。這首歌不是很難翻譯，不過有一些髒話，還是想了一下得怎麼翻才合乎口吻。另外，有幾個字和片語，我也考慮了一下翻譯的選字。首先是「wreck my image」，中文直翻的話是「毀壞我的形象」，但是英文的「image」不只是外在形象，也包含自我對自我的看法、認同、自我狀態，因此有點把整個人搞得「變形」了的感覺，最後決定翻成「把我的樣子弄得一團糟／一團亂」。歌曲名稱的「vicious」這個字，不只是單純的不好，還是那種「有毒的」不好，不過翻成「惡毒」又覺得太過文謅謅，也不太符合中文語境的惡毒有著很毒的語意，最後決定翻「惡劣」，也是呼應「vicious cycle」有「惡循環」中不利於情勢和健康的「惡劣」的這項性質。
這首歌最喜歡的歌詞應該是「You don't feel remorse, you don't feel the effects, cause you don't think you hurt me if you wish me the best 」翻成「你不覺得愧疚，你完全不受影響。因為你以為說一句『祝你一切順利』就代表你沒傷害我」，覺得寫得很真實也很口語。在翻譯「effect」的時候覺得「影響」這個詞寫得很好，不只是說對方不知道自己傷害了對方，而是連自己做的事有何影響都無自覺的意思。
最後呢，有點冗言贅字地把「wish me the best」翻成「祝你一切順利」，因為感覺翻成祝你好運、祝你幸運、祝你快樂⋯⋯都不是最符合，英文裡感覺有其他語句可以替代這些話，「wish you the best」則是比較有「祝你一切順利」、「祝你一切都好」的意思吧！
