The Midnight Miracle of Guava Shrine Actually, Guava Shrine has a very special secret. 有些人說,他們在半夜路過芭樂宮時,會聽到奇妙的聲音—— Some say that when they pass by the shrine at midnight, they can hear mysterious voices— 宮裡供奉的三尊神:扁鵲、華陀、李時珍, the three gods enshrined inside—Bian Que, Hua Tuo, and Li Shizhen— 據說半夜會「自己聊起天來」。 are said to have their own little midnight chat sessions. “Maybe they’re hosting a divine chatroom!” Even more magical, the next morning, a little notebook always appears inside the shrine. Inside, each page is neatly written in calligraphy, like messages left by the gods themselves. Uncle Chun-Lai collects these writings, prints them into small booklets, and places them in the shrine. Villagers visiting the shrine can take these booklets home, carrying the “midnight wisdom” with them. “The gods of Guava Shrine aren’t here to grant wishes—they give you little surprises instead.” “You never know what story the next booklet will bring.”

But at Guava Shrine, it’s different—the shrine doesn’t just hand out almanacs.
What makes this shrine special is that it gives out little booklets.

If they find the information useful for themselves,
most of them will light a small incense offering at the shrine and take a booklet home.
