    ing表進行式為最廣泛運用, 不特別分析.  若有→標識後的句子為原句改為主動或原型(即不使用ing的表達方式.  簡單說就是國小或國中程度可理解的句子啦!). ●為原句引用

    約800字的文章不包含進行式的用法就有"七種", 實在有必要好好理解這些應用. 關於各種用法的說明, 只要是文法書都會有, 這邊不多說,只舉例句或文章分享.  個人較推薦賀氏英文法全書系列(已經相當法條了), 寫的相當詳細, 可以對照參考. 如有需要分析的文章, 也請告知喔!!


    1) 進行式被動

    ●And CEOs are being pushed by employees, investors and opinion makers to speak out and engage on social issues — even if it comes at a substantial cost.

    →Employees are pushing CEOs to speak out and engage on social issues


    2) 動名詞當主詞

    ●Being a C.E.O. of a big company is a hundred-hour-a-week job.

    ●Some companies have found that saying less is best (子句裏的主詞)

    ●Establishing the right tone and relationship with employees is more essential than ever,


    3)介系詞+動名詞

    ●They are ambitious and often seek the power and thrills that come with being in power

    4)形容詞子句省略成現在分詞

    5)現在分詞當形容詞

    6)1S+2V : 一個主詞+2個(或以上動詞), 強調同時性或連續性時, 可將一個動詞改為ving

    ●But it has come after many businesses spent decades trying to get the most out of China as a manufacturing center as well as a huge market→1s+2v, 可改寫成But it has come after many businesses spent decades, and they tried to get the most out of China as a manufacturing center as well as a huge market."


    7)副詞子句省略成現在分詞:

    ●Business leaders are trying to introduce A.I. while preparing their employees for what comes next.

    →Business leaders are trying to introduce A.I. while they prepare their employees for what comes next."
