As the technology in smart manufacturing reshapes industries worldwide, LITEON is leading the way with the LiMI Program (LITEON intelligent MFG Institute). This program is designed to train the next generation of global talent for smart manufacturing. Through a one-year well-structured program, LiMI develops highly skilled professionals with international perspectives, ready to support the industry's transformation.

📢 4 Key Features of the LiMI Program

📍 Cross-Cultural Growth and Learning

Since its launch in 2021, the LiMI program has trained four cohorts of talented individuals from China, Taiwan, and Vietnam, with Thailand joining in 2024. Each year, LITEON selects outstanding university graduates for this one-year program, preparing them to excel in global smart manufacturing. The program begins with a five-month training period in China, where participants from diverse backgrounds come together. Despite differences in language and culture, the trainees share ideas, learn from one another, and build lasting connections. Several months of training are not only about professional training but also about cultural exchange.

📍 Structured Training: The "2 + 3 + 6 + 1" Stages

The one-year LiMI program is designed to guide participants step by step:

1) 2 Months of Foundational Training

Trainees are arranged courses on automation, AI, project management, and critical thinking to learn the foundamental knowledge of technology and management. Language classes are also included to ensure smooth communication.

2) 3 Months of On-Site Training

Trainees transit to manufacturing facilities to gain hands-on experience and apply their knowledge to real-world challenges.

3) 6 Months of Internship

After the first two stages of training, the trainees will embark on a crucial six-month intensive internship. During this period, they will undertake project tasks, participate in team collaborations, and gradually develop from novices into capable professional.

4) 1 Month of Position Matching

Trainees are assigned to roles that suit their skills and interests. After graduation, LITEON will continue to support their career development through follow-up programs and competitions.

📍 Comprehensive Support Resources

Expert Guidance: LITEON focuses on training smart manufacturing talents by having experienced staff teach practical skills and inviting university professors to cover theory. They also collaborate with international companies like EPSON and KEYENCE to provide the latest automation technology training and a global perspective

Personalized Mentorship: During the departmental learning phase, trainees are assigned mentors to learn basic job knowledge. They also receive support from their supervisors, who guide them with their management and professional experience. Additionally, trainees can gain valuable tips from the experiences shared by their senior colleagues.

Dedicated Advisor Team: From course scheduling to internship assignments, and from trainee activities to personal care, the dedicated LiMI advisor team provides comprehensive planning and guidance. They pay close attention to trainees' progress and needs, ensuring they receive the necessary support throughout their training.

📍 Competitive Benefits & Rewards

LITEON meticulously designed compensation and benefits system acts as a “booster” for trainees' motivation. In addition to a monthly training allowance, there are four quarterly assessments during the one-year training period. Trainees who perform exceptionally well in these assessments can receive outstanding bonuses. The benefits are equally thoughtful, providing trainees with comfortable LiMI dormitories and dining environments during their training in mainland China, ensuring they can study and work without worries.

⚔️ Innovation Project: Unleashing Creativity

The annual LiMI project competition brings together both alumni and current trainees. Each year, the competition focuses on five key areas: efficiency, quality, cost, innovation, and collaboration, all aligned with the latest in smart manufacturing. Trainees might use algorithms and AI models to boost production efficiency, develop new technologies to enhance factory capabilities, or implement intelligent systems for lean production.This competition is a highlight for LiMI participants, offering individual, team, and excellence awards to encourage ongoing innovation. It provides a platform for trainees to showcase their skills and knowledge, injecting fresh energy and creativity into LITEON's future.

🎂 Building Connections: Activities & Celebrations

LiMI organizes activities like outdoor events, team-building workshops, and monthly birthday celebrations to strengthen bonds among participants. These events provide a break from training and help trainees form lifelong friendships.

“As a trainee of LiMI, I am very impressed with the activities organized during the training period, especially the organization and the company's care for LiMI members. First, the first event I participated in was mountain climbing. At that time, I was very surprised. I didn't think that after starting work, I could still have such experiential activities. It was the first time I naturally met and got to know other LiMI members. Next, the first birthday celebration for members in August was also my birthday. It was also the first time I had a birthday celebration abroad. The preparation was meticulous and beyond my imagination. Not only birthdays, also many other holidays are also organized by the company, with many bonding activities that help us become closer, good friends, and good colleagues in the future.


🪽 Graduation and New Beginnings

Each year ends with a combined graduation ceremony for the current trainees and a welcome event for the new cohort. Graduates receive certificates recognizing their achievements, while incoming trainees are introduced to the program and its resources. This event symbolizes the passing of knowledge and the continuation of LiMI's mission to develop top talent for LITEON.
