All I have is yours when you learn to put first things first, but you must take time and search your heart and know what you are putting first in your life. Remember, you can hide nothing from Me, so be completely frank and honest with yourself. Does your work for Me mean more to you than anything, or are you inclined to push it into the background, and only do My will when you feel like it and it suits you? If so, you are not putting first things first. Only when everything is surrendered to Me can I work freely in and through you to bring about My wonders and glories. Let not your surrender be half-hearted or fearful. When you give anything, give it whole-heartedly and with real love and joy, and have no regrets whatsoever. Know that I will use your gift in the way it should be used, to My honour and glory and for the benefit of the whole. 當我學會了將首要的事情放在首位時，上天所擁有的一切都是我的，但我必須得花時間搜索我的內心，知曉在生活中被我放在首位的事情是什麼。要記住，我無法對上天隱藏什麼，因此對我自己要完全的坦白與誠實。我為上天而做的工作對我而言比任何其他事情都更為重要嗎，還是我希望把它推進後台裡去，並且只在我想做的時候去行使上天的意願，當它合我的意的時候？如果是這樣，我就沒有將首要的事情放在首位。
只有當一切都臣服於上天時，上天才能自由地在我之中從內至外地作工，帶來上天的奇蹟與榮耀。不要讓我的臣服是半心半意的，或是出於恐懼的。當我給出任何事情時，全心全意地給出它，帶著真正的愛與愉悅，並且無論如何都不要後悔。要知道，上天會按照它本應被使用的方式去使用我的禮物，致上天的榮譽與榮耀，為了全體的利益。
