求職新手村第三級~英文履歷(上)

1. 決定英文履歷的類型，Chronological or Funtional，兩者使用排版的順序來決定亮點，Chronological強調過去工作經驗，Funtional強調「你會什麼?」還有「你有那些突出的特殊能力?」也就是技能與學習歷程，適合剛畢業的、轉換不同領域的、和前一段資歷有工作空窗期的人，聰明如你便知道我接下來只會介紹Funtional Resume的寫法。
2. 設定好履歷的格式和字體大小，以下是Indeed建議的格式 頁面邊框0.7 inch，字體用Time New Roman/ Arial 名字16-18 pt 聯絡資訊 12-14 pt 個人簡述 (小標題)14 pt(內容)12 技能 (小標題)14 pt(內容)12 工作(實習)經驗 (小標題)14 pt(內容)12 教育 (小標題)14 pt(內容)12
3. Let's do it step by step. Step 1, Contact Info填入通訊資料，電話、email和社群帳號(應徵社群媒體相關或是公關溝通類職務必需) Step 2, Summary寫出你是誰?為什麼要應徵這位職位?重點是，要依據應徵不同的工作來更改這部分的內容，不可同一內容用到底 阿滴的英文履歷教學影片(資訊欄裡有兩份優秀履歷的範例可下載) Indeed的Summary範例(這個網站如果你不害怕看英文影片和內容的話，大推薦) 應徵客服相關職位的Summary Customer Service Representative with over three years of experience resolving complex customer inquiries. Identifies waste and inefficiencies to implement targeted improvement strategies. 有沒有發現開頭都不是I?而是直接省略主詞和Be動詞，用形容詞和動詞直接形容特質和根職位相關的專長。 Zety的畢業學生Summary範例 應徵投資AI相關職位的Summary IBM Watson-certified data scientist with 8 months experience from data science internship at private investment banking startup. Seeking to leverage 3.9 GPA and 80 data science-related classroom hours to obtain the junior data scientist position at Brooklyn Tech.

Summary的KEY關鍵是

• 把開頭的I or Iam去掉
