p. 58 Pockets of silence and sublime beauty are found in both.
⚝
p.65 In my imagination, I created an electric ship that could break through all kinds of ice, that nice and elegantly, fearful and irresistible, could sail through the Arctic oceans, straight to the Pole.
⚝
p.73 There are no streetlights or billboards, broadband is very limited and phone signals are patchy- welcome to a land without crime, queues, hurry or worries.
⚝
p.91 Be soothed by the gentle sound of the sea and the far-off bellow of the rutting stags echoing across the water.
⚝
p.134 Trust the landscape and find it takes you to places words can’t describe, for the wild can draw the poison out of old wounds like a poultice.
⚝
p. 137 Even noticed an elephant’s ears are the shape of Africa?
⚝
p.159 At times, you may suspect you’ve gone deaf it's so quiet here, with only the faintest ripple of your oar splitting the placid water and wide blue sky.
