關於這首歌

就像洪佩瑜在新歌發表會上提到的，要把這首歌放在口袋，過年的時候拿出來當作抵擋長輩無止境的「傳統」問題的歌曲。感謝Tanya蔡健雅寫了這麼一首歌，透過佩瑜越來越細緻的真假音轉換，但還是不失其率性的唱出現代人面對人生有其他更多不那麼「符合傳統」的選擇。

即使有時還是有些人對這類選擇抱持疑問，自己可能也不時會自我懷疑，但可能就是因為身在這個時代，有所懷疑意味著自己其實有做選擇的餘地，選擇成家或單身、選擇為人父母或過兩人世界，選擇就業或去打工度假等等，一邊自我懷疑一邊做出抉擇，是幸福也是奢侈的行為。

當我請外國友人為翻譯歌詞提供意見時，一開始她問我為何是Unconventional Mornings?無論中英文歌名，不常見的字詞搭配都讓人有點霧颯颯，但在讀完整首歌詞後，外國友人隨即大喊這首歌就是她的代言歌啊！

原來不只音樂能跨越國界種族和性別，大齡單身女子（包括我）也是不分國界的。
