- rise up 一詞可指起身、起來、上升、起義、反抗等多種意思。配合歌曲的基調與意旨，將其翻譯成情緒上的歡騰、物理上的跳躍，以及寓意上的打起精神、漸入佳境、反抗命運等譯文。
- pikkaan（ピッカーン）原文為日文，為歌曲自創之擬態詞。結合ピカピカ（pikapika，閃亮意）與カーン（kaan，撞擊、頭暈目眩，表程度）之虛構詞。因為僅作為填補節奏與氛圍的虛構詞，詞性與意義皆不固定，因此翻譯方式不固定。pikkaan（ピッカーン）也可聯想到寶可夢中皮卡丘（ピカチュウ，pikachuu）的角色形象，帶有雷電或可愛的聯想。
