為自己聽~4 habits that will make you powerful by Brian Tracy

This morning started with a sudden rain when i was still in bed. Raindrops hit the leaves in the yard, like dancing spirits. Thanks God! I was in the mood for appreciating the nature while somebody else might be complaining the bad weather. My way to salute the day is to keep listening and writing something. Here is what I've got this morning.

The old saying goes "Life is short, but art is long." Since our lives, compared with other things on earth, are far and away short, we might exercise the imagination to lenghten them.

We become what we think about us, so goals will shape our images toward ourselves and others. Set specific goal, not to be general. Write it down with " I ..." every morning and remember it alll the time. Then, the following four habits will accelerate the steps toward it.

  1. People oriented
    People have everything we want. Terms of "People" and "fortune" are exchangeable. Take care of our people, which is our foundation.
  2. Result oriented
    The law of excluded alternative says that doing one thing means NOT doing something else. Since our energy and time are limited, so set the priority and decide to do what values most.
  3. Health oriented
    Staying physically fit has great influence, not only appearance.
  4. Self discipline
    It contains what we sould do and when we sould do it. It's honored by the speaker to be the superpower to make imagination into reality. It's the foundation habit to make things happen. In our short lives, we all suffer two pains: self discipline and regret. Let's appreciate the former and welcome it, which turns out to be sweet fruit someday.
