In my opinion, this picture symbolizes sense and sensibility. The brain represents sense, and the heart represents sensibility. In our lives, we must maintain a balance between rationality and sensibility all the time. As long as we are of the opinion that each side is our living focus, we will lose balance and fall into the abyss. Even though we are standing over the abyss, we need to be brave and tread on thin ice gingerly.To me, this picture makes me think about the times when I was in the darkest of times. I took half a year off from university to go back home because I dealt with problems that were too emotional to have a conversation with my classmates and family at that time. I danced around the problem, and I unilaterally thought that I was not suitable to stay at that university. So, I felt miserable and fell into an abyss. I thought it would be difficult for me to get up again. However, I found that only I can give myself courage. So, I decided to give myself one more chance to study at university. Until now, I have never forgotten that darkest time, and I hope that I remember it and have to work harder.
