If that isn’t bad enough / To make matters worse / Even worse
If that is not bad enough是說「如果我前面剛說的那一件事(that)還不夠糟糕的話(not bad enough)」,那接下來我還要講更慘兮兮的事,讓你感覺我夠慘。 As if that is not bad enough或 Like that is not bad enough,意思是「就好像那還不夠糟似的」,感覺老天好像認為我還不夠慘,要讓我遇到更糟的事。
I had a car crash. If that isn’t bad enough (Like that isn’t bad enough), I don’t have any insurance(保險) to cover it.
If barely having(幾乎沒有) enough(足夠的) money to scrape through(勉強度日) isn’t bad enough, we just found(發現) our food ran out(耗盡了).
To make matters worse是說「讓事情(matters)變得更糟糕」。
I just got ditched(被甩了) by her. To make it worse (Even worse), she lied(騙) to everyone that I cheated(劈腿).
