Everyone has a story. These stories tell me where you are, what you’ve been doing and what you’re thinking. That’s why I love one on one coaching, because these stories are personal, intimate and honest.
You can’t hide from your health history, training age and lifestyle. You can choose not to tell your coach, but at the end you have to be honest with yourself about who you really are and the choices that you are making
I can tell you right now I make many mistakes along my journey, but none of it I regret, I may look back and say I should or should not have done things certain way, but again I know given all circumstances I did the best I can and I always give my best effort. These efforts are the stories that lives in on me that makes me who I am today.
All my weaknesses and strength, desire and goals, physical as well as psychological attributes. The way my body looks and feel, the way my mind interact and react, reflect my current state of being.
But don’t get me wrong, I am not asking you to hang on to your story. As a matter of fact, I am asking you to change it.
別誤會,我不是叫你一直停留在這些過去的故事上,實際上,我希望你能突破這些故事,改變自己的未來。
Transformation, a word often heard in fitness and yoga world. From overweight to fit, depress to happy etc. A successful transformation needs genuine and honesty between coaches and clients. We need to learn to communicate without bias, building trust not marketing gimmick, learn to better understand our choices through education not internet fads.
For coaches, It’s ok to make mistake, but it’s not ok if your ego comes first before client needs. Think what’s helpful not what’s popular. Always put client well-being before yours, money comes later.
For students and clients, listen with an open heart, but think critically and sought out professionals opinions, people that care, make wise decisions that relate to your personal goal. Before decide on anything, sit down, take a deep breath and ask yourself, is my next move consistent with my goal ? All transformation start with you.
